i wouldn't guess the shins would ever do a video like this. It's kinda cute, kinda corny, kinda 1990s 120 minutes.

Not to knock the director, but aren't the Shins one of those top-10 indie bands that every major director is dying to work with, regardless of budget? I wouldn't be surprised if they could snag a Dougal Wilson or Jon Watts for a $25K budget.

guys in orange jump suits making a plan should lead to extreme hilarity. This is a touch dull and soft.

yup that's cute... but err... there just might be missing something, like pace, or funnier stuff. It's not awkward enough, but the simplicity of it is quite remarqueble.
