eight minutes is a bit too much but the song is maybe his best single in a long long time.
That's a pretty heavy crimson wave Miss Wood is surfing there. If I was Manson, I'd leave her alone until the gushing subsides a little!!
Cool vid, but needed some trimming here & there. The car crash at the end was a bit of a cop out too, I was expecting a nasty wreck with twisted bones & blood.
Sometimes it's wrong when an artist directs his/her own videos. It tends to allow a total wank fest to their own genius without hypocrisy or the guidance of 'maybe not' advisory.
This is one of those occasions.
This is about as bad as that What Goes Around video. Then again, maybe it's better IN 3D!!!

total trash. the film-school chic got tired around minute 2 and i couldn't believe how low mariyn manson had fallen. but then i struggled through to minute 5 and saw it get even worse. all in all, i'm not sure i've ever seen a less inspired and more worthless promo clip. if manson did indeed direct this tripe it serves as undeniable proof that real directors are a necessity.
what about his collaboration with Cameron? what about this "3D effect" Cameron has developed?
Shittypretzel: I think the collaboration with cameron was an exaggeration, Cameron's not directing anything he's just renting 3D cameras to Manson. I also think this video is supposed to be 3D, that's why there were all those fluttering photos and POV shots from the moving car. I'm not really sure about the effect though, I know Cameron's been working on some special 3D thing. The guy on Ain't it Cool News is always slobbering over it.
