Question
Can anyone remember a music video shot on digital camera for a us rock act with a girl standing on a street corner and the world passing her by. Or any other videos shot on SLR digital cameras that come to mind? Is it easy to do... or is it a total fxxking nightmare??? thx Juliax
That Slipknot video Tony Petrossian did comes to mind
There are others I'm sure, but I know this one was done with a Canon digital.
I've used this technique myself before to create a motion effect, I wouldn't say its a nightmare, it just takes planning. There are upsides...it's a money saver, and you can use motion stobes.
i do projects with this technique all the time, depending on what you want to do its not a nightmare at all
i've never tried it with playback synch though. i imagine that would take a lot more finicky noodling in the timeremapping part of your edit.
Two that come too mind:
that sipknot song makes me wanna puke. are they delusional or what?
Price James's video for Lost Penguin:
My favourite is a little old: Orbital's "The Box." The coolest stuff happens after 1 min. www.youtube.com
