I fucking love the tone of this video. Like the song itself, it manages to perfectly balance the seemingly incongruous elements of brooding introspection with pop romanticism, all executed with a touch of metaphysical playfulness. Fantastic.
Soooo complicated. It's as if the song and any performance charisma has been trapped in the animation.
