You're allowed to dislike the video and the band, but I almost find it sexist comparing Sahara Hotnights to Girls Aloud & Lara Croft. Sure, why not put Avril Lavigne in the same category, and hell, why not Sarah McLachlan as well! They're all female, right? N'importe quoi...

Country rock flavor seems to me

I would'a thought it was more 'Boxcar Willy' territory strumming' guitar, riding freight up top on the Southern or Union Pacific woteva, than Lara Croft? Dain't she have a butler, do kill bill workouts, fall down holes, discover treasure, get betrayed by former lovers and have to kill them or something?

No sexism was intended - sorry if you interpreted my comment that way. I was going to say that they reminded me of the throwaway, manufactured, bubblegum trash that Pete Waterman used to churn out but I wasn't sure if that reference would make any sense these days.If it makes you any happier, I'm sure that I could come up with a list of middle- to no-talent boy bands with whom to compare the girls.

As for the Lara Croft comment - I was commenting on they way they presented themselves on the video: hardly sexist, that.

Aha, but Sweden's Sahara Hotnight's been around since '92 and are anything but manufactured! Whether people like them or not was not the issue for me; I couldn't care less. I just want people to get the information right. Anyhow, even though I posted this, I do agree that the video is boring and nothing special.
