i'm with you on the kills, fionn regan and ok go (that's my number one i reckon)... but frankly i ain't buying that fatboy slim's 'praise you' was made for $800: fatboy? spike jonze? he wasn't that small then, and fatboy was already getting large, and then there's all the extra vits they did, docu stuff, rehearsals etc... but good list. does throw up the question: how low is low?
yarly. i mean, Justice vs. Simian is a great 15-25K video; but in a completely different category than the girl w. the daft punk hands.
yes it's pretty eclectic - the main idea was to pull out neat ideas that have been done well. Justin vs Simian was a bit of a stretch, but it's got lots of low budget ethic. And same for Praise You, mainly because it bigged up a non-professional feel. Know what you mean, but that's why they're there I guess FrEckle made daft hands for the price of a magic marker and some tape
