Stijn "Gasoline & Matches"// Dir: Walter Van Cleynenbreugel (Monodot)

From the same guy who directed the new Felix da Housecat clip
too much random stuff in this.
crap
^If we're gonna post subjective opinions, an explanation is in order, jj. These directors work hard and deserve more than just rude remarks. I notice you made the same comment on the Sonny J clip. Justify yourself please.
you have point... but still there are no rules to this and i figure some comment is better than none... plus i wn't be badgered into into justifying it... too many people on this forum take their comments way too seriously ... i mean really !
Calling something "crap" that someone has invested blood, sweat & tears into is uncalled for (and there was clearly alot of effort put into this clip). I shouldn't have to explain this. Perhaps you are not aware that artists, directors, producers (etc.) patronize this site. It's about mutual respect.
Pick an element you don't like and perhaps we'll discuss it. This is an intellectual forum, not youtube fodder.
intelectual forum.... ha!
I'm with good soul department. go back to youtube.
woaaah, there's some serious blogsnobbery going down there... it's not like a poorly paid job in the media industry is a prerequisite for commenting is it?
but on the otherhand - that is SO FAR FROM CRAP. some wicked wicked touches in there; light moving across animated scenes, freaky dancing, the flames at the end. i give it 'two thumbs fresh'!
this video is preety cool but what's with nazi approach by the other participants?
The "ville" seems to me all about free speech (comment) no?
As for being an intelectual forum well, by defintion it is. i have read some very astute observations here by people who are obviously aware of the medium and are taking the time to analiyse the work.
Free speech? Yes. Quality control? Hopefully!
i enjoy the video, but i liked the song more keep om posting gsd!
pandaman- you are a director, and you are calling someone who is sticking up for directors not having to put up with unsubstantiated comments like 'crap' a nazi??
?
Being a director has nothing to do with it
There are plenty of one word subjective comments on this forum. whether it be "nice" "wicked" or "crap"
it seemed to me a little over sensitive/protective reaction...and clasiscally turned into bit of bullying As for being a director? well far better to get a comment then no comment at all... being a director requires you have thick skin... or at least develop one to protect your sensitivity.
one other thing
I make "Crap" quite alot and people tell me its "nice"
So go figure!!
yes you do direct some crap
Las-Ketchup-Asereje
Good grief. Constructiveness buffers the stench of negativity. Congrats Panda on your thick skin, but that's an idiosyncratic quality. In the meantime, why is being appropriate such an assault on one's constitution? If we don't establish some sort of informal posting etiquette, you might as well extend an invite to every ignorant, forked-tongue twinky on youtube.
Antville is better than that, no?
It's not a matter of "snobbery", but rather empathy! There's something to be said for social solidarity.
Oh... and no commentary is generally peferred to unwitty ambiguous loaded remarks (à mon avis).
good grief indeed
