pitch for new paid work on forthcoming Radar collaborations; all
tracks are licensed so directors can use their promo for showreels
and festivals, hassle-free; even awful entries will get an honest
evaluation from the Radar panel...

from the 230 people who entered last year’s Radar, four directors
already have representation with production companies (like Colonel Blimp), nine directors have made or are making promos for labels, two have made big brand commercials and many directors have been invited to pitch for work as a result of Radar.

I took a shot at it worked on a track which was later on cancelled (aka removed form the track-list) so it pissed me off and i thought i'd ventilate here. Thank you.

I think you're the only person that happened to - we managed to reach everyone else, we just didn't know you were working on that track. If you are that one person, well we did what we could by sending you mp3s for all the other tracks and extending your production deadline. If you're not that person - we just didn't know about you - we ask people to register so we can keep in touch if anything odd happens like this.

Unfortunately, the label went back on their agreement and decided to pull the track quite late into the competition. If they're not going to provide a prize for filmmakers, there's no point in keeping the track there. I'm sorry that happened, of course we didn't want it to happen, but we had to roll with it.
