Pearl Jam's Gone - Svetshop
Hello Antville - I've just recently come across this site and have been greatly enjoying the content. We're a small startup production company that's been making short films in New Orleans for the past year. This is our first project, which we were comissioned by jrecords to make. Here is a much nicer (and larger) Quicktime version: www.threeballfilms.com
let us know what you think!

I assume I'm watching HDV down-rez'd with H.264? It looks good, anyhow. The cinematography's also good, with the slow editing making the snappier edits appear more subtle than if it was jump-jump-jump in sync with the music all the way through.
On the critical side, it was only the quality of the picture that kept me interested in narrative - i.e. what the feathers were for - and I thought that the selective out-of- focus masks done in post were a wee bit messy ... and their differing colour grades didn't make sense until the oil puddle turns up later on (have I just said a sp-oil-er?)
Great to hear the Pearl Jam boys are still on top form. Well done, too, for supplying a MOV.
Good luck with the company. Cheers, Darren. Director, X-GF Media Ltd.
