OneRepublic has taken over YouTube. This version has 13.7M hits combined. The original version, pre-Timbaland, has about 32M hits. Combined, that makes it the 2nd most-watched vid on YouTube, behind Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" which is up to 64M hits.
Meanwhile, Idolator thinks "Apologize" is a lot like this.. Thank you, Idolator :)
