great wfmu blog entry on the man behind the first music video on mtv and dozens more... I agree... hey palm, where's his dvd?

Guys, in all reality, KENNETH ANGER (among other experimentalists) was the first pioneer to start music videos as we know them today.

In my opinion, this collection is infinitely better than any of the director label dvd's. His work is supercharged.

I don't think anyone doubts that Anger has been an influential artist, hence his dual dvd collections...

Palm pictures has a lot to answer for with their directors label series... volume 2 was a little strange in choice compared to Vol. 1
