This is a low budget video I directed recently. Would love to hear what people think - bonus marks if you get the film it references...

Is it "The Girl On The Bridge?" Am I right? Do I get bonus marks? If so, what are these marks to be used for? Do they have a monetary worth? If not, can I borrow $3.50 for lunch?

I dunno what the budget was but its a good effort. Some nice shots, and her body truly is a marvel. Its dangerous ground though tackling remakes of scenes as great as that source is... i cant imagine why anyone does this? It cant hope to be compared, and cant hope to avoid that comparison when its put online and wears its influence so blatantly on its sleeve. Remakes are all very well so long as they better, or alter the interpretation of the original, and im sorry to say this does neither. BUT its a good effort as i say.

Totally take on board what you're saying about referencing a film so directly - I got the band to send me some images they liked and, although none featured knife throwing, they were all burlesque and all black and white so I couldn't help thinking of Girl On The Bridge - plus I love that movie so it seemed like a good thing to try...

FYI the budget was £1000 and everyone worked for free...
