I'm not a fan of this artist or this type of music, but I don't see how it can be the worst video of the year. I give her credit for trying something out of the ordinary for her genre with this video. And it is shot very well also.

I agree. It still managed to squeeze in her meta-celebrity angle, which seems like the theme of choice for this generation of aspiring pop stars. I'm too young to know if that's always been around. Was Janet Jackson doing it back in the day? Paula Abdoul?

also, why do some directors insist on making musicians act? it's almost always a bad decision
