Can't think of many commissioned clips 'cept by the likes of Sean Paul and Shaggy. And of course the Ger'maicans
Tho' If u trawl u can find studio footage of ppl like Culture, The Gladiators, or U Roy etc
U could be forgiven in thinking that most nowadays JA musicians seem happy to output live footage
Still having gone over to Damian Marley's
myspace, I find all the video clips seem to produced by one Ras Kassa who's visual concepts n' ideas seem's t'be still frozen in 1977, wen the 2 sevens clash
Not exactly showcasing the brilliance of Damian's album Gang War
The good n' viable remix of "one loaf of bread" promoted by a wanky live clip Brilliant that innit! Must'a sold it shed loads
(clip's since bin removed from his m'space, n' alrite it may not have bin so wanky, but not a lot of foresight was used there!)
