this is superb. the more eccentric saam's work becomes, the better it is... and this is completely bananas. love or hate his work (i'm prone to a little of both) you have to admit he has an utterly unique vision.
erm... is it me, or was there something a bit off with the lighting & art department work here?
i liked saam's good shoes video, and the first couple for klaxons, but i'm really not into this 'computer geometry meets antique role games' aesthetic he's been developing. i find it very ugly and cold. Still - he gets props for doing his own thing...
I totally agree about the art department bit. That red box looks cheap and it makes the effects (ie. black liquid & dowel rods) look DIY. (Not that DIY is a bad thing. It just doesn't fit with the tone of this vid.)
