Videos in Big black Studios examples
Antvillian gods (and goddesses) of knowledge. I am looking for examples of music videos shot on huge black stages - MV's that show the hugeness of the stage (and the budget) - as opposed to videos shot in a room with black curtains and then crunched to infinity.
PD's 1234 is a good example but I am looking for something less lit. KT Tunstall's "Suddenly I see" is another good example but also too lit. www.youtube.com

Not totally black, but (almost) no backlighting, grand stage. Not sure the director on this one.
francis lawrence's huge black stage for the pussycat dolls' buttons was nicely lit. as was huse's for the arctic monkeys.
sooo, all these "examples" posts are to help you get visual reference for a treatment, or what? seems to be a lot more of them lately.

to be fair, they were from three different posters. apart from which: can't see anything wrong with rustling stimuli from the 'ville m'self...
The video Medina - Elektricitet posted a few day ago (by meself) is a black "huge" studio only video.

Managed to swing a huge studio on next gig and rustling up visual ref's to avoid looking like a small school theatre look. No point getting something that big without showing it off. High shots seem good. Might need to use rigging scissor lift. Also trying to avoid the haze, hair fan and ringlight look but embrace the devil you know.
anyway currently filling out 48 page HSSE risk assessment for studio rental...
