Jay-Z feat Pharrell- I Know (Dir: Philip Andelman )
No performances, short film. Unlike any Hip Hop video out now. Nice Visual element at the end
director: philip andelman anyone have a QT?
Hmm. Perfectly nice track (R&B muzak actually, I'm no fan), interesting vid. The relationship between the two? Well, you've got me.
Is that underlying percussion loop from Johnny Greenwoods Bodysong soundtrack?
HOLY SHIT! That was amazing. It almost seems like an indie rock video with the Jay-Z track thrown over it. Framescourer, if you listen to the wordz of the track, you might get the relationship between the video and the track(if thats what you meant) Between this, Kanye's Flashing Lights, some of Hype's new inspired work(Superstar), and some other alternate thinking works, i believe there might be somewhat of a hip hop video renaissance on the verge of happening. Very moody and dark and devoid of the artists. kudos to hova and skateboard P. Stand up!
All this made me do was squint. Far from amazing.
no that was amazing. seriously. loving this shit in hip hop, about time we went from the same thing over and over again to tone poems and concepts. andelman did a beautiful job.
