Said The Gramophone's "Wonderful Video Contest"

nay i've been a constant reader of the said, they're excellent for an mp3 blog, but radar festival is better
imite be wrong, but there's a difference tween the two, seems to me: these folks are doing the videos for pleasure, and not because they hope to break into the industry. in that sense i have a hard time considering radarists amateurs.
you're partly right: some of the radarists - myself included - barely qualified as full status amateurs, having previously worked as TVC or short film directors (no music promos, tho). however, if you're looking at the regulations, you'll undoubtedly notice that:
while radar was offering money and a chance to get noticed, it plainly kept professional music promo directors out
on the other hand, saidthegramophone allows both amateur and non-amateur film-makers to partake in the contest (for considerably less costly prizes, that must be said)
so, technically speaking, radar was indeed for amateurs, whereas said...was not.
the winners. (some good stuff.)
nope. not really.
Matei- for a fellow filmmaker you can be a bit sharp.
then you should see me in the editing room
when needed, im critical of my own work, as well. ive never thought being outspoken is bad.
