'The Greatest Gift' (Justice - Phantom PtII) - Daniel Bloombergh | Director Interview

It's a short film. The story itself was inspired by some psychoanalytic reading I had been doing. There are 3 levels of "reality" in the film...
is antville the only place you get ideas for director interviews? videology often times feels like a bastard child of this site. you just wait for videos that garner the most attention and milk it for your own publicity. thumbs down
Thumbs down, mva? Hardly anyone cares enough about music videos to even learn the directors' names so it would seem that we should all appreciate the fact that someone is willing to put in the work to let them explain their intentions and inspirations. Plus, unless the creative process of mediocrity is your cup of tea it'd be a stupid waste of time to try and get an interview for a music video that no one cared enough to even comment on.
daniel: It's a short film. The story itself was inspired by some psychoanalytic reading I had been doing. There are 3 levels of "reality" in the film. The very constrained reality of the individual locked into themselves (the green jell-o), the greater reality of human society (the girls in the room) and then the unfathomable reality of what lies behind our day to day lives (the mysterious chocolate sauce).
This film is the story of someone who learns how to make peace with these 3 worlds. It's a "coming of age" story.
jesus fucking christ. i don't believe a single word he's said. jelly-coated mumbo jumbo. psychology 101 for the idiot.
their "own publicity", mva? i don't see a single ad on videology - so what exactly are you accusing them of? sure they sometimes come across as the further investigation branch of antville - i just can't see where the problem with that is.
publicity of the videology identity or brand or whatever. i was not referring to anything related to making money so it doesn't matter if they don't host ads. but i reread what i wrote and i admit it was a bit mean spirited, i take it back... partly. i wish videology would interview directors and feature videos that they find on their own- videos that are not proved "hits" as determined by antvillers. it's a bit annoying
