Whatever happened to breakcore? Somewhere in the mist of art-wank IDM arose a little genre with a loyal following. Few of these artists earned any recognition, or released tracks on any of the major indie electro labels, but for us fans who downloaded their tracks for free and watched them spin long into the night in sketchy Brooklyn bars, they were heroes.
