The Teenagers "Make It Happen" Dir. One In Three

Like the 80's, almost. At least better than that recent similar Partizan un-original 80's knock-off vid posted a while back.
From OnInThree.tv: "This loving homage to Eighties movie posters and in particular the art of Drew Struzan was created by OneInThree on the most miniscule budget imaginable."
The video looks great as do the effects, but there's nothing I hate more than people pointing out the budget to us. All that says to me is that they weren't as happy with it as they wanted to be and it's the best excuse. Plenty of us out here have worked on 'miniscule budgets' and been let down in the end, but that's not an excuse...you just have to work harder next time. A good video is a good video, regardless of budget, so don't look for extra credit by pointing it out.
If you're not going to give them credit I will.
That looked awesome. Well done.
What credit.... Make it happen...make what happen. These guys are so lost in the eighties...I don't know who to laugh at more the nerdy guy in the glasses or at the oriental guy. It looks better than the wig than the fat guy on www.tshirtsales.com At least the visual are somewhat entertaining
"that's not an excuse...you just have to work harder next time."
So the answer is even more free labor? You must work for a label...
Good videos require good budgets. When someone makes something happen for next to nothing, there's nothing wrong with letting people know.
don't hate just cuz theyre throwing out the budget line...means theyre tired of working countless hours for no pay. stupid.
slaving away on post ain't going to cover up the fact that the performance looks like they have shit in their pants.
budget...what I meant by work harder was to work harder on concept and idea based on budget. I don't work for a label and the answer is not 'more free labor.' I don't agree with 'good videos require good budgets' either. Obviously it helps, but there are plenty of big budget videos that suck and plenty of low budget videos that are great. Like I said before, a good video is a good video, regardless of budget. Telling me before hand that the video was made for a small budget won't make me like it more. On the other hand, if I find out later a video I like was made for peanuts, I'll be impressed.
The keying is decent for their equipment but the first thing I noticed was how poor the lighting was when the band sings direct to camera. the visuals are fantastic. The music definitely warrants all the 80s nostalgia maya and AE can buy. The guy with the glasses still haunts my dreams. I have nightmares fraught with severe butthurt.
