all bitterness aside (b/c i did write on this) this is really not good even in the slightest. it looks like a high school media arts project.
wow... jump cutting clothes changing on the beat, never seen that before... pointless lyrics up on screen... semi-trendy non-actors... badly shot.. everything i hate in music videos all at once! well done!
... i forgot to mention lazy stop-motion, contrived gap-esque dancing in front of camera, and truckers' caps bad dylan rip-off. really. i. don't. like. it.

Like 60 DIRECTORS wrote on this as a part of Radar. I was another of them along with Piore. The band only specified they wanted something that could go "viral".
The band got all SIXTY pitches, decided it didn't like a single one of them and pulled the commission from radar. Then did this. Which, you know, actually causes me physical pain to watch because it's so badly shot.
It's a surprise, as their other videos are rather well done - the I<3GONDRY lego one and the little animated one.
Wonder if they lost their budget or summat?
