Daft Punk - Electroma "MOVIE"

Has anyone seen this movie? Any good?
i absolutely loved it. people will tell you about references, slow pace etc, i say watch it and just don't expect any daft punk music or dialogue in it.
i totally agree with comment below.
at a first glance i didn't liked it. but few days after watch it, the movie become spectacular. then, i watched it again.

If you like Daft Punk's music, you probably won't like this movie.
interesting...
Sucks that there isnt any daftpunk music in it? Not even a single track? I wonder why? Maybe would of been 10x better with there "own" music narration like the Interstella 5555 animation movie.
I rather enjoyed it and wrote a little something here.
ehh, very fast forwardable......
Could've maybe been an interesting short.
purpology : that's like saying if you like David Bowie's music you probably won't like The Hunger (Tony Scott movie with Bowie, without Bowie music).. sorry but i fail to see how that's relevant.
rotundus : no daft punk music in it but i don't think it would have been better or worse with their own music, simply would have been a different film.
It could have been a really great film if they gave up their dreams of making a 'feature' and cut it down to a 30 minutes short. It's current state is really awful.
It got some amazing sequences though, but other than that it's like it was filmed in Rip-o-Vision.
Am I the only one who sort of felt that this whole film could be written off as a very high concept spoof on 'Gerry'? Sort of the thing Billy Crystal might do in a sketch for the Oscars, but sans an actual joke.
The last scene, with the fire is an amazing piece of sublime beauty. (but yeah, sort of plays like Spike Jonzes Wax video set at night).
..noticed when I saw it at the cinemas that a certain Chris Cunningham was credited as the steadycam guy.. anyone knwo if it's HIM ?

My favorite scene.
As for 'Gerry', come on. 'Gerry' is pretentious and vain, just like the desert.
To each his own.. IMHO 'Gerry' is a masterpiece.
Hehe, but if you find that one pretentious and vain, what do you call a bad remake starring robots, and in which the opening scene is a riff on 2001?
Let alone the desert/vagina sequence: youtube.com
I wasn't convinced at all.... it looks beautiful and plays out like Koyaanisqatsi on Ketamin. However, that's not a great thing. The book that comes with it shows you photos of all the best bits before you've sat through the film- look through that and then use the DVD as a shoulder pad in some kind of DIY Robot outfit. To be honest, I was baffled as to how you could make a film about robots with daft punk involved and be that boring... My friend watched the entire thing in fast forward whilst I was in the room and yep, i found that far more satisfying.
dont get me wrong, i am not mad about electroma, but there are several scenes breathtakingly beautiful, that all.
'Koyaanisqatsi on Ketamin.' hahaha, nice one.
