Have seen film whilst spending some time in oz, and in all seriousness - don't waste your time. Just watch Blood Simple, the film that this has ripped off. Unless you want to see Edgerton try to become the third Cohen brother. Save yourself the disappointment.

Have you seen this film mva? I actually quite liked the trailer and would probably give it a chance if it ever comes to my town. The shot of the burning Christmas tree clinched it.

Lets be honest, MOST music video directors can never properly make the transition to features, so good for him. I've never been a fan of Edgerton's music promos but his short film Spider was great fun. He seems like a natural narrative director.

         

I'm sick of films like this representing australian cinema. I mean i am sure the film will be ok but it just seems to be the same tired old plot and the same tired old characters.

         

I thought this looked alright, is this some kind of a Kiwi / Aussie feud?
