LYRICS: Over and over, baby Making me play this game If true love waits, it's a big mistake No need to feel ashamed
When the clock says stop, We're all gonna drop I don't care if we get caught When the clock says stop, We're all gonna drop, I don't care what you've been taught I say "baby", you say "bump it" All you wanna hear is Gabriel's trumpet When the clock says stop, We're all gonna drop All gonna drop
If half of what they say is true Look at me when I rock with you If half of what they say is true Look at me when I rock with you Sure, I know it's apocalypse But can't it wait til I kiss your lips? If half of what they say is true Look at me when I rock with you
Baby...
You make me feel so helplesss I meet you after school I'm so tired of kissing, Shooting and missing Making me feel a fool
You never wanna give me some You're gettin' off on kingdom come Well, if the Lord take you tonight C'mon girl, you best treat me right But I don't believe in happenstance So you're gonna give me your last dance
If half of what they say is true Look at me when I rock with you Rock with you When I rock with you Rock with you
thanks for the lyrics,i love a good sing-a-long...
um ... i dont know how i feel about this, its made me go all wrong inside. Did they have to copy stuff shot for shot ... is that even legal? Creativity or plaugerism?

I think i need counselling, whats your opinion? Is it rip off or homage?
It's an homage. The idea is for the viewers to recognize the source material inspiration and to connect to it on a nostalgic level.
I thought it was awesome. Great song, cool visuals. The compositing was a bit spotty at times and I wish the opening had been in the real world- but minor qubbiles, it a lot of fun. Who directed?
I remember a lot of 80s cartoons opened with kids kids in the real world getting sucked into some dimension via an amusement park ride, Nintendo, etc.
I agree with captainmarc22's first two sentences. I found myself reminiscing over M.A.S.K, Ulysses 31 and was hoping for some cities of gold. But even though i am a child of the 80's and love many things from the 80's I am pretty tired of seeing blatant homages to it everywhere. Surely they could of came up with their own story and ideas using the same style of animation. Could have been way more interesting.
yeah i figure it couldve been more interesting too ... im all for a homage and love recognising the source of inspiration for something ... but to copy the exact editing and shot composition irked me a wee bit. Its good to hear others opinions, thanks all. And I did see some cities of gold in there.
Despite my irking, they have made me talk about it, and enjoy watching it more than once ... I'd say that denotes a success.
Hmm the skull-face guys shooting the fire balls was pretty rad. :) I really wish the band weren't in it though. As for homages, I think it's tough rip-off those 80's cartoons successfully; there's a nuance to that stuff that's hard to duplicate.
