Disturbed - Indestructible Dir. Noble Jones
what do you think about the storyline? at least has an idea, I guess so. only youtube sorry, when I caught the quicktime I´ll post it or maybe someone before me... thanx
Hard to see much on Youtube but what I see I like... a lot. Watching a promo like this makes it feel like it's 1999 or 2000 and our industry is actually viable again. I didn't know Disturbed had this kind of money to throw around.
In terms of tech: The lighting looks rock solid. The edit is crisp (some of the cutaways are ace - loving the angles on the guitar and bass). The CGI looks well done, if a touch noticeable, but I'm also looking at this on Youtube so... Overall a great video - it works artistically and will still fly with the mainstream + fans of the band.
Very ambitious and because it fires on all cylinders (the two most important being 1. artistically interesting 2. commercially viable) it's one of my monthly faves.

Pretty darn cool and extremely well-crafted. In the age of viral video madness it's rare to see a video that 1) establishes an interesting aesthetic for the band, and 2) makes a song feel epic. In a just world, this would be the screen cap for the best of the month collection...
This video doesn't seem to be getting a lot of attention on the 'ville. Wondering if maybe it's cause the youtube vid isn't embedded. People sure like things to be convenient. ;)

not impressed. reminds me of all the videos and music i loathed in the 90s. felt like a bad computer game intro
well, I like moments like these...when I really dislike the song, but enjoyed the photography and/or edit. Throws a nice wrench into things, into what I think I know about videos or what personally constitutes a good one.
I mean, if it were a Sword video, it would have been perfect.
ugh, Disturbed...but, yes, it IS commercially viable and is very easy on the eyes, soooo...nice video. But, Disturbed? It hurts.
Thanks Kayser.
