I didn't even know that Violet Hill had special effects.

I actually don't think the categories or the choices are all that bad... What should have been in there that's missing? (keeping in mind that they aren't going to pick the totally 2 kewl indie rawk stuff that people on this luv)

Many years since I stopped considering Mtv as a credible outlet for videos that can be considered Art. It's funny how the kind of 'breakthru', innovative stuff that pioneered in that place now only rarely surfaces in Mtv2 or some late-night segment, if ever, and months after everyone has seen it on the net. Now, it's blogs like the antville the places to watch.

Mtv is dead, long live Mtv.

mgmt- electric feel.... best art direction nomination but NOT best special effects nomination?

interestingly, the video on mtv's nomination page is the first version and i was thinking of the second version.... but the blurb next to it references the "misty jungle" of the second version as well. mtv is drunk at work.

i am just saying.

i will consider a new nickname... :(
