its kinda refreshing to see a hot chip video that isn't all slick and brilliant. But that's about the only good thing I can say about his one! Great song though.

This band has always been a question mark for me. I have such trouble with their albums as it all seems like such a one off.

I think its pretty awful really. If it was an unknown band we would be saying its likely to be found on youtube by some amateur. And I like Hot Chip!

without meaning this too harshly (no offense to dir - looks like maybe band made it themsleves?) there's no point making a deliberately 'bad' looking video if the end result is genuinely bad. none of it hangs together, there's no real feeling, you get none of the emotion/energy/humour of the song, and its goddamn awfully shot. maybe that's deliberate, i don't know. maybe they jst thought fuckit let's get a camera and go shoot some random stuff and pocket the budget for ourselves. in which case fair play.
