Styrofoam, "After Sunset," dir. Tyler James
This is my first live action music video. I am curious as to what everyone thinks.
This sux :(
Please people, don't mention Michel Gondry. Give the guy a break.
This is a very well executed idea. It is his first music video, shows some craft and good art direction.
Now about the beard. Oh the beard.
Thanks guys, very constructive.
dude, tj, is this your first time on the ville? why would you expect anything different, specially when you post asking for thoughts.
i personally didn't think it "sux." the "god" bro, i think, should have been played by an actual old person. being a kid makes it seem juvenile. other than that, it's a decent video for a pseudo-dcfc band.
Maybe it is just because I lack the necessary hippness-fetishism to dislike it, but I was absolutely entertained by the video in its full length and liked that there were always new bits and ideas to keep me watching.
Maybe a closeup of the flying kid somewhere at the beginning would have been better to show that it is actually a kid but then again it might just seem that way because my internet is too small.
it was neat but I felt like the gimmick got old pretty quick.
