is it illegal to post your own video?........ or just a little lame. :-(

nah, I get shy about that too... it's probably only lame if you post your own video and talk about how you were somehow able to "pull it off" on such a "shoe-string budget" and what not...in my opinion, anyway.

I post my own stuff occasionally... and I certainly don't mind when others do! It's a great way of seeing videos I might not otherwise come across.

The only things that rub me up wrong are when (as birdsonfire says) people write gushing press releases about themselves under the video and/or get all their mates to sign up to Antville and be like OMG BETTER THAN GONDRY AMAZING!1!!.

i post my own shit sometimes. I want as many people to see my vids as possible. I dont make videos to sit on my hard drive and watch myself. Its hard to get real criticism from your close circle of friends alot of times. I feel i can get some real criticism here.

as for your video. I dig how it builds. I thought the edit was a little off in parts and the look was sorta washed out(but maybe thats the look you wanted). Its great when the singer is knocked down, wasnt expecting that. Nice sorta cliffhanger in the end.The fact that you didnt have a performance shot of the band is cool. Thats always one of the things I look for in a video especially rock and not seeing that is cool. Nice video.
