Azeem "Open Em Up" | Director: Little Red Robot
Indie rapper Azeem walks through some 3-D photo-realistic cityscapes in this video stunner from the creative crew at Little Red Robot. Despite the motion and light trails seen in the slow shutter photographs that serve as the backdrop β mind you, backdrop isn't the right word since these photos truly look like enveloping three-dimensional scenes β the only person moving is Azeem. Technically speaking, the shoot involved hi-res time-lapse still photos on-location in the Bay Area and NYC, plus a live-action HD video shoot with Azeem on a green screen set and treadmill. The elements were then composited and given a 3-D special effects treatment by a team that previously worked on Iron Man and The Dark Knight. If you're a tech head, here's the specs:

Where any of those still shots HDR?
technically speaking "timelapse" refers to a series of photos taken over a period of time and played back at "normal" speed.
slow shutter speed aka long exposures create light streaks.
There seems to be a growing trend of trying to big up your mediocre video with hyperbolic technobabble that means nothing to the majority of viewers of an average video like this.
