Hello antville,

Can any of you recall of music videos that have some sort of "opening" resource? The best reference I could find is this, Beck's "Girl" video by Motion Theory, where the background sort of opens and closes, just like a pop-up book, or one of those fold-outs taken out of Mad Magazine.

I'd be extremely thankful if you guys have any other similar references of things that "open".

I don't know if these might be what you have in mind: what about Super Furry Animals' It's not the end of the world? Mechanical objects in a fixed stage, growing and morphing like a steampunk origami diorama. Or if symmetry is what you're after, Jemapur's Maledict Car is certainly a beautiful example of that.

Also, a song called "Don't Fuck With Love" has pop-up book effect by Sad Little Stars.
