"Para mim é chinês" (pt. It's Chinese to me) is intended to be a reflection on what a far westerner retains of far eastern culture: the audio and visual associations - though blurry - constituents of a common imaginary. We don't know what it is but there is an indelible mark on this symbolism that brings us to China. So for me, it is Chinese (ie what a Portuguese says when a given phenomenon is not understood), and yet, I know it is.
