SMT is a seriously talented director and I like the world he's built for 'Lights'. What's more, the story is surprisingly touching and I especially enjoyed the ending.
My one quibble is the performance, it feels lackluster. For example, I love the idea of that retconned piano thing but we never really get a sense that she's playing it. I see her fingers hitting the keys and I see cuts of her standing in front of it but the connection between the artist and the music is thin at best.
It's a good video overall but in my opinion this illustrates that a well shot/delivered performance is worth its weight in gold.
