Flight of the Conchords "Carol Brown (Stick Around)" dir. Michel Gondry

greenscreen seems like kinda a cop-out for a gondry piece (and projecting video onto walls is a retread for him), but I still like it. I think anything too inventive wouldn't fit well with the show. that being said, I'm still disappointed he didn't take the opportunity to treat the songs as 'real' music videos. they could've written to justify anything, really.
Has he been directing many episodes?
no, i think it was just a one-episode guest-director type deal.
Was surprised he used greenscreen, but it's my favourite Gondry video in years. Possibly the best Conchords episode they've ever done, too. Written by The Inbetweeners guys, a great British sitcom if you've never checked it out.
Not British but from New-Zealand.
Peace and respect to the Conchords.
The Inbetweeners that "ournameismud" was referring to is definitely from Britain.
