This is a really old Bloc Party song, and therefore a really old Bloc Party video. Like, before they had actual budgets for their videos.

saddy- first of all as crooked_spin explained Little Thoughts is old and they wouldn't have had much money to make that with. I actually think it's pretty cool for what it is.

Secondly I think that the Hunting For Witches video that got released wasn't what was intended... or wasn't finished. Can anyone corroborate that?

         

yes. the original 'Hunting' video had lovely graphic text incorporated into the video. then the band and/or manager wanted to take it all out. this is the carcas of a much better video. shame

as crooked_spin said, this is an old one with quite no budget (actually i think it is their first video ever?), but i think it brings the music into focus and it visualizes the rhythm and the drive of the song in an appropriate way. the hunting for witches clip is however a good example how to screw up such a concept.

         

No- I am definitely disagreeing with any statement that suggests that bloc party don't care about their videos. If you were underwhelmed by either little thoughts or hunting then I don't think you could hold the band responsible... that is what I am saying.
