@ kalstark - im curious what you mean when you say that he captures the pop zeitgeist, and how this is an example. I think this video is very cool looking, and she sure is making profoundly poppy pop, but what is it in the visuals you are seeing that is zeitgeisty?

Part of me wants to like Lady Gaga because at least she's not making generic pop but this stuff is campy as fuck. And the whole sexploitation angle isn't the least bit shocking anymore.

I'm with toco re the Campari - nasty - but not entirely with otc because, IMHO, she is making generic pop. And that's a shame because she seems to be a real deal otherwise
