good video, solid edit (great pacing throughout). nice little story as well, typical sure but still entertaining. the ending kinda bugs me and seems to run counter to everything that's come before. i wouldn't expect they'd end it with him walking away with the girl but whatchagonnado. At least it's a pleasant and progressive change from the more standard southern rap video fare.

this song is so horrible. I've said it once and I'll say it again, rappers have the absolute worst taste in rock music. Eminem's favorite band is Aerosmith. Jay-Z worked with Linkin Park. Even Kanye West likes Maroon 5.

Lil Wayne, though he's young - is the least convincing high school student ever. With his tattoos, dreads and teeth he's become such an other-worldly looking person. it's like trying to put Marilyn Manson in high school.

The video's not bad. Dave Meyers never does boring videos; and he rarely makes unambitious clips. Just think of how many scenes and setups are in here, and imagine how Hype would have shot this all on a soundstage with some motion graphics.

I dont really think the point was for you to believe he was really a high school student, I mean really does that matter? I agree it is very ambitious and I think for the most part it pulled it off. Great photography and art as well.

You guys are crazy. There's nothing of note here aside from the terribleness of video and song. Junky cliche shit that smells bad from all angles.

Teenage Spirit" vibe I've no idea how that idea woz arrived at? A limp take of teenage dirt bag more like! Kal obviously blinded by the presence of Dave Meyers on the credits, woz unable to tell us how wunderful the lighting woz, still his tag partner more than made up fer it, in grossin' out in obsequiousness to the stunnin' art

Since I like Lil Wayne's voice I probably wouldn't a said nuffin but u guys have jus shown urselves up to be oh so shallow! Unbelievable!
