Flora by Gucci, Dir. Chris Cunningham

haha. nice one. So simple and kinda trippy. Mirror images at the end. (everyone says: no, you can't do that trick) but. Some love it, some hate it. (the mirror thing). I think its okay. The sound of the voice in the end is so funny. trippy style again. love it.
wow, cunningham still got game.
great how seamless this transition into the mirror image is, even though only the background isnt perfectly symmetrical except the subject matter is.hhm, alot of detail. best pack shot ive seen in a long time.
how did they get this parting flower effect? some sort of wind canon perhaps?
hmm, very nice and, yes, the transition to pack shot's so seamless
Flower-gasim by Gucci.
when did this premier?
that was magical. YES you can do the mirror effect if it actually adds to your piece conceptually which it totally does here.
this is rad. the wind on the flowers reminds me of a scene in a tarkovsky film.
Didn't know Gucci made butter!
Loved it. Looks beautiful and everything fits together perfectly
Good Job
^^ that's 'cause 'Flora' is margarine n' not butter :P
So sick, I'm surprised high end fashion companies didn't got to MV directors earlier, but it seems to be the trend lately, and I'm all or it.
very nice.
@sharpiesharpesharpe - yeah maybe something up above on a pogo?
I know I'm reading too much into this but that really sounds like natalie portman at the end. Anyways, A for execution.
its so nice to see him all smiley in the making of, its great to see him back in the game.
thanks progosk
and, what the? looking at the making-of, have they just laid a large area of flowers over a patch of wheat field.
Teh master is back :)
this guy is unbeatable... Magic at its best.
who's the girl? vanessa paradis?
Simple. Elegant. Classy. Fantastic. Chris never disappoints ever.
she's aussie abbey lee kershaw.
luv it!
ha, i remember hearing about her in the news
so, is he repped by warp films or, which prod co would he be doing commercials through?
this was through rsa, tho he has his own production, cc-co.
Fuck yes. Aeromancy.
For me, the 30 works better than the 60. I wonder if a 40/45 would've been the perfect length. Awesome, this.
4 days to shoot this. Crazy.
They must have started anew each day until they got it perfect.
(with ye on the 30", lusk. oh, and: is datamining your middle name, kays?)
The 20" is my fave
Can we get a mov up in here anyone???? I gotta watch this full screen.
very awesome. any details on this? who edited? did telecine? it says above that zyskind DP'd. any other details...?

scary scary this guy, has only shot a couple of ads and one or two videos in 10 years yet still remains as fresh as ever.
im sure he's had millions of tvc sripts sent to him over the past few years, i wonder how this sealed him.
props to Marcel Zyskind
After hearing the new Horrors record, I am shocked by how good it is. And looking forward to seeing what Cunningham has in store for the band's videos...
FAM: Is he still involved with that? I thought they got the portishead guy to produce the record for them.....?
Yeah, he produced it with Geoff Barrow and someone else. Not sure which elements he was responsible for, but the net result is really impressive (especially when compared to their debut material).
eerie and beautiful. excellent use of sound.
gold lion (for "best use of music") in cannes.
Can anyone repost the hq mov format of this ad again?? I've lost it...
thank you msm!
