New Zealand wild man Christopher Tubbs returns to haunt your hi fi with the memorable New Way of Life. The single features an appearance by Dallas (aka Joe Dukie) of the infamous Fat Freddys Drop as guest vocalist.

Sitting in the remix hot seat we have Marlinspike who delivers an achingly soulful dubbed-out version. Mr M conjures up a unique blend of dubstep, 2 step and detroit techno tinged with melancholic synths and late night atmosphere. A mélange which is just as influenced by his love of Theo Parrish, as it is from checking out the sickest dubs down the local dance hall...

Marlinspike is Nottingham producer DJ Danny Berman, aka Hot Coins/Red Rack'em who is very much a hot property right now. His recent remix of Slow by Tricky and the massively hyped remix of Joubert Singers 'Stand On The Word' have both been hammered on Radio 1 by Gilles Peterson whilst other releases have a had heavy support from Mary Anne Hobbs, Rob Da Bank, Kode 9, Geiom and Shackleton.
