Think this is the first digital single she done for Avex
Lovely tho' she is, I find Maki's style of singing leaves a lot to be desired
Its that generic Jpop style which most Japanese artists suffer from to a greater or lesser degree whether it be Pop or R&B
It is to my great annoyance and disappointment, that artists who's videos originally seem to show flashes of brilliance and the promise of transcending Jpop ordinariness, eventually succumb to such a generic fate, case in point Koda Kumi!
All I can say is this video fits the style
Just as well Tommy and Anna are still doing it, even if their last few outings have being a bit lacklustre, still way more bite than Maki's offerings
