I always suspected that the cobrasnake sucked at everything that didn't involve sticking his camera in the air above a crowded party and holding down the shutter button.

What works for him in his photographs doesn't translate to video. Turns out with photographs its a numbers game and at some point you'll get a nice frame or two by randomly firing away. On the other hand this video feels like some boring hipster home videos. I guess I couldn't suspend disbelief because of the familiarity of the northern Santa Monica coastline. Wonder why he didn't shoot something up in da club?

Don't usually like to join in the mongering chant, BUT...

I find Cobrasnake & his subjects mundane to say the least & often just repugnant in the. I think most of the people in his photo.s just look like dumb kids you'd find at anywhere & don't understand what the big deal is.

More over I was amazed when someone showed me the site & then started going on & on about how they could just look at it for hours etc.

They just look like anyones weekend party photo.s to me.

This video captures that spirit PERFECTLY & the song is pretty lame too.

Sometimes I feel like this site devalues the meaning of the word "directed"
