Tonight, Island Def Jam head, L.A. Reid held a private "tastemakers" event in NYC to show IDJ's new "Spring Line Collection" of Artists. He premiered videos for Fabolous, The Dream, a couple others, and The Paranoid Vid ft Rihanna. Lowkey @ BET got his guerilla on..so all thanks go to @lowkeyuhtn {for the twitter folks}.

VERY uninspired for such a strong track. Typography feels unintegrated and tacked on. Concept is under developed (Rihanna is so paranoid in her sleep she goes for a drive looking for Kanye?!). The clockwork orange/car homage adds up to very little if anything at all. And like, you know, does the dance do anything for us? sigh...
Dir is just Nabil.

my guess is that kanye saw this posting (he reads this blog) and sent word.
video is not finished from what nabil told me.. reagardless..
right....video is unfinished yet label heads have a full res copy for projection. right.
^doesn't sound unreasonable to me that they would or that the director would feel it wasn't finished. And who really gives a shit about this "leak" anyway? It was shot from the audience on a camcorder, what was the point in posting it? Or am I missing something?
