YEAH YEAH YEAHS:"HEADS WILL ROLL"

:(
A rare subspecies of video - the type that gets better with every passing minute. The video is constantly inventive while also reinventing itself and I, for one, was entertained.
K
amazing
is that jacko after plastic surgery?
nice one!
can't stop watching it. did a brilliant song justice.
Wow, this one goes some really amazing places moodwise.
BOSS.
Really? I actually found this one kinda lame. I dig Karen's attire (almost as always) and like the blood confetti at the end but overall, I'm not so sure...
And the Micheal Jackson werewolf thing was far from great.
there are inexplicable continuity issues with the werewolf hair when he's dancing. zing! jk, this is quite amazing
hmm. i gotta say, if your going to hommage/do micheal jackson, then i reckon your dancing werewolf has to be able to dance at least like michael jackson... or at least as well. or maybe i'm just being a pooper.
but lovely glitter blood, and beautiful shots, idea too.
Love the new YYYs album, big fan but for whatever reason, I just didn't connect with this video. It just felt kinda empty. And I found myself a little bored. Not dynamic enough for me I suppose.
Not really seeing what all the fuss is about
macguffin, do you like this song?
who was the stylist on this?
Love the song, love the art direction, love the costume design... basically I like it so much I can't even get annoyed about the slightly rubbish choreography.
great song, great video
Richard Ayoade is my hero.
Nice one. Seems to transcend it's references.
Actually this is probably my favorite song off the new album. Not really feelin the album overall though. I think the strength of the song is what a lot of people are getting caught up in.
As for the video, it just didn't really do it for me. After the initial "shock" of "oh it's a werewolf dancing" nothing happened to the very end. And it's already been stated, but yea the dancing sucked, which should have been the most on-point part of the video.
I'm not hating, this is probably better than 98% of the stuff I see on antville but to me it's just a good video. Didn't see anything "transcending" or "constantly reinventing itself" about it.
I will say that the blood confetti and last shot were great though.
Between this and that new Grizzly Bear video I'm really starting to question what passes for genius in the music video world in 2009
fair enough. it's great that you extrapolated on your previous comment.
yeah, this track is definitely one of the few on the album that is worthy of praise.
