Where's the drumming? why does the perf footage on set up 2 look so bad? and over the top?

It's a stylist reel it's great stylist. Take it one step further and inject some ritual scenes ala jorodowski. Wait, universal music financed this it wouldn't happen. Or it wasn't thought. It's a cathedral setting something kinky could be implied. Beyonce steps? skinny girls should not be doing that.

Negatives aside it's a good jake nava knockoff, and she's a little over the top. Great legs on the singer. Hysterical dramatic. Now, the second part of that performance...is bad. Really really bad.

I smelled something fishy. Like the label told the dir to feature the artist in every shot or so, the same thing Marc Webb talked about in his interview. That is standard practice. Plays well on vh1 in the mornings, I guess.

The director really let that girl go, perhaps that's the desired expression. It's like an evanesence video via Paula Cole.

And not in a campy way. Jesus. By the time the song was done I was too. But I really like this video it's ridiculous and operatic, annoying but the negatives are just details.

Wait that was horrible. Really horrible.

Ur post seems a reasonable analysis of the clip Was going to dismiss it completely, but re watching it, changed my mind, it finishes well Some of the dance choreography at the start seem weak, mainly those frame crops above the knees don't seem to make sense, because the upper torso moves don't seem too energetic! Anyway I changed my mind, and overall clip's Ok, vocals too!

I've never seen so many togs on their blogs get so hot under the collar I don't mean by looking at the 'steamy' shots but by their pompous moralising and sermonising about bringing the profession in to disrepute FFS! Everywhere the in the media, togs earnings and livelihood are under attack and this is what they chose to draw the line in the sand about! It's... fine. Florence looks nice. Video seems calculated to widen/mainstream her appeal, especially in America; will certainly accomplish that. Some of the camera angles seem a bit dodgy, but whatever. I like the overhead shots.
