haha, I kept thinking how this seemed like a slightly weaker attempt to capture that haunting period piece narrative thing that Damien Jurado's "Caskets" video had done so remarkably well. But, turns out (via the SRO link), that Daniels is responsible for both videos. So...now I don't know what to think.
they're both purty as hell, either way.
This video looks great and I like the story and wardrobe. I just felt like it could cut faster in spots.

they used an RC Helicopter for the aerial shots. that is so badass.

good thing they could afford the rc helicopter. but - serious drama by the lake & in the woods shot digital = no good. stuff like that must be shot on film.
