but seriously, i don't know what this means. i think the only one of these FR videos to work was nilsson's. it felt like it was part of a bigger world. whereas this feels like it imploded into its own sense of "cool." just cold.

normally i should've liked this - a lot of soft focus, nicely muted grays and browns, and the singer's spite for music video conventions that try to embelish the artist - but this feels as cold and unengaging as this:
