Damn, just totally shattered my illusion of this. Still dig the vid.

         

Seemed cheesy to me and got boring quick. This makes me lose faith in big budget music videos. This would've been impressive maybe 4 years ago.

         

"Awesome!" ... must assume sarcasm. I dunno if such poor compositing would've been impressive four years ago. ;)

Always loved that series of Harmonix ads though. You can thank Virtue (marketing arm of Vice) for that campaign.

Doesn't matter if its been done before - its the execution that counts.

i thought the compositing was decent considering the super rough handheld cam.

BUT the video really lacks an event. the entire concept is revealed within 5 seconds, and then it goes nowhere from there.

         

you guys should check out Joseph's writings on how District 9 is totally racist, but Transformers 2 is not.
