I almost feel bad to post this mama after Nilsson's last masterpiece.
don't feel bad cus this is pretty cool! I liked it a lot actually. At first I was thinking "oh great, another polaroid music video", but that turned out to be really nice with the rotoscope animation. I only wish that payoff/breakdown at the end happened just a little bit sooner. Either way, great ending.

Done. It's because it's so good that i feel bad: this XXIst century version of Take On Me is gonna deviate everybody's attention from Nilsson's masterpiece. And the track, obviously, is a killer.

the first-person POV has been done. the richard linklater rotoscoping thing has been done.
but together, this is something pretty unique and pretty awesome. they're not just too concepts slapped together as eye candy. they're working together for theme and tone. and it continues to top itself as the video continues
