I think everyone here is able to "get it". I think we got it last year. And the year before, and the year before that. The problem is that a lot of us just don't want it anymore. The track suits, the forced 80's/early 90's nostalgia, the silly rappin white boys, the zaniness of it all...it's just a bit lame at this point, especially when you insist that it's so brilliant, as mentioned in the handful of other reposts of this video.

I like me some homage/reference/nostalgia from the recent decades as much as the next guy, and I've put some of that shit in my own videos, but I think there's a way to do it that doesn't scream "Hey, we've just discovered Irony!".

If you really want to see how it's done, go listen to some Grand Buffet. Their videos aren't great, but they've got that zany-white-boy-rapping-about-silly-things down pat. Plus, they're actually funny.
